Tina Weis is the Vice-President of High Power. She is an Air Force Veteran, business woman over several organizations, and a proud mother. When she is not in work-mode, Tina loves spending time with family and friends boating, camping, off-roading, and traveling.
Vice-President of Operations
Denis Goomey is the Vice-President of Operations at High Power. With nearly three decades of experience in telecommunication, Denis is a proven leader in the industry. He enjoys riding his trike and spending time with family and friends.
Chief Financial Officer
Richard Waddle spent the majority of his working career in the coal industry, plus 6 years in the U.S. Army Reserves before joining High Power as the CFO. Richard graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and holds his CPA. In his spare time, Richard loves going to the gym or playing golf, where he hates losing more than he loves winning.
Human Resources Manager
Ashley Bailey has been with High Power for 11 years. She is a Sullivan graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Leadership and is an active SHRM/LSHRM member. Ashley is an avid UofK fan and loves to spend time traveling with her family and friends. Ashley makes herself available to each employee for any question or issue brought to H.R.
David "B.B." Benningfield
Director of Operations
David “B.B.” Benningfield has a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management which he has applied through every step in his 16 years with High Power. “B.B.”, as every calls him, is an integral part of the Operations Team. He is also an integral part of a success, local rock band as the Lead Guitarist. When he’s not onstage or at work, B.B. is probably on his motorcycle.
Director of Field Operations
Bill Hyler currently serves as the Director of Field Operations for High Power. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing daily field level operations, working closely with our offices to ensure the company’s success. Bill brings over 13 years of senior management experience in the satellite / telecommunication field to High Power Service Operations, making him an integral part of our team.
Fostering a sense of accountability in both himself and his fellow employees through his personal example and positive leadership is the benchmark of Bill’s management philosophy. His unwavering commitment to helping others achieve their personal and professional goals highlights Bill’s investment in High Power’s core values. While Bill is always happy to celebrate past and current successes, he is never content to accept complacency, working tirelessly to drive the company forward.
Bill’s greatest passion in life is his family. He has been married to his lovely wife, Kelly for 26 years. Together they are the proud parents of 6 children. They also have 2 grandchildren. Bill is an avid sports enthusiast, finding time in his busy schedule for competitive weight-lifting and coaching. No stranger to winning outside of the work arena as well as in it, Bill has coached several of their children to State and World Series championships in multiple sports, including baseball, softball, wrestling, and weightlifting.
Holly Green has been out-of-her-office for the last 12 years at High Power! When you are lucky enough to catch this busy lady, she is probably in-between meetings from the many hats she wears. Holly oversees Sales, Marketing, Social Media, and the Call Center, and still finds time to be mom to two young boys. Somehow, she also finds time to do crafts, too!
Norm Szabo is a Kentucky Colonel that has been with High Power for nearly a decade. His passion for rebuilding and restoring cars for the past 35 years plus 22 years maintaining school bus fleets makes him the ideal Fleet Manager. Norm takes his job very seriously and loves what he does. When he’s not under the hood of a Camaro, he’s either fishing, camping, or living up to his Grandfather-of-the-Year role.
Campbellsville General Manager
Jerry Lain started as a technician with High Power over a decade ago. He took his job very seriously from the beginning, becoming a Lead Technician, then a General Manager of his own office. Jerry’s work ethic comes from his background in farming and as a Commodities Relocation Specialist. Jerry still manages to squeeze in time for his fun-side with hunting, fishing, golf, bowling, and boating.
Louisville General Manager
Chris Bailey is an SBCA Certified Trainer with a background in installation, sales, and training and Bachelor degree from UofL. He has spent the last 12 years with High Power. Outside of work, Chris stays active in sport climbing, bouldering, and golf, but enjoys downtime doing marathons – Netflix marathons.
London General Manager
Bucky Hobbs came to High Power 8 years ago after five and half years in the Army. He remained in the Army Reserves for another 9 years as he simultaneously rose through the ranks at High Power from being a Lead Technician all the way up to General Manager of the London office. Bucky is an outdoorsman through-and-through, whether it is working on cars, enjoying sports, or off-roading.
Florence/Morehead General Manager
Paul Parker has been with High Power since 2006, but has been in the telecommunications industry for two decades. Paul’s commitment to perfection is top-notch. He is a steadfast family-man, watching his kids play sports and spending time with his family. Paul also loves golf and loves to be good at it!
Eddyville General Manager
Steve Parks spent 10 years in the vending industry before making the switch to telecommunications. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Steve has kept his office in high production with even higher standards. His kids and his family are Steve’s #1 priority – he even coordinates Little League for their school.
Charlie Martin graduated from LUTCF with a degree in Time Management and Business Marketing. He holds certifications as a Journeyman Electrician, U.S.C.G. Tankerman, U.S.C.G. Certified Welder, Millwork Specialist, Kitchen Design, Flooring Specialist, and Plumbing Specialist. After 20 years in the shipyards and 12 years in the insurance industry, Charlie brought his management skills to High Power where he has been a loyal asset for 7 years. As an outdoorsman, you can find Charlie white water rafting, golfing, mountain climbing, canoeing, or fishing.
Owner, Nuckolls Inc. / Satellite
Donald Nuckolls is the proud owner of Nuckolls Inc./Satellite 1. Satellite 1 has been a subcontracting office for High Power since 2005, serving the greater Lexington area. He holds an SBCA certification and successfully manages a crew of technicians. Outside of work, Don loves the outdoors. You can find him skiing in winter and wheeling around on his ATV in the summer.
I.T. Infrastructure Manager
John Wells is a U.S. Army Veteran with a degree from Elizabethtown Community College and Vocational School. He is a Certified Electronics Technician that truly enjoys a good laugh. When he is not enhancing the company’s network and data infrastructure, John is creating beautiful leather-craft and woodwork, and enjoys a good hunting trip.
I.T. Department Manager
Steve Rose has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. That couldn’t tame his love for I.T., where he has been in web and software development and design since 2001. Steve still loves the gym. He also loves spending time with his son, family, and friends.
Dig Safe 811 Manager
Bill Sorenson is a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran and a Bronze-Star recipient. When he is not setting up Dig Safes, Bill can be found out fishing, camping, and trying his eye at beautiful photography.
Safety Director and Corporate Trainer
Darrell Robbins came to High Power with a multitude of skills and certifications, including SBCA instructor, Smith System defensive driving instructor, OSHA General Industry Safety and Health, Special Education Assessment Center, and Certified Automotive Mechanic and Machinist. Darrell is a proud Army veteran after serving for an impressive 12 years. It’s pretty safe to say Darrell knows about safety.
Resource Planning Administrator
Brandon Quinn is the newest member of the High Power team. He previously spent 15 years in management in the auto industry. Brandon stays busy with his five kids when he is not busy recruiting for new technicians to join the team.
Crystal Feliu just celebrated a full decade at High Power! As the Payroll Manager, Crystal is everyone’s favorite person every payday! The only thing that can pull her away from numbers is talking about her life in Hawaii. In her spare time, Crystal enjoys balancing shopping, reading, her family, and her ministry.
Christy Smith has been double-checking everything for High Power for the past 11 years as the Recon Manager. When she is not tracking things down, Christy is busy tracking down her grandkids and spending time with her family.
Johnny "JJ" James
Johnny “JJ” James has extensive training and certifications in Advance Dish Systems, SmartBox, and commercial wiring. It was only natural that he became High Power’s Quality Manager. With a background in the automotive industry and wood-working, JJ pays close attention to detail to make sure High Power delivers the highest standards in telecommunications. JJ enjoys camping, boating, and the outdoors – even moreso as a cancer survivor.
Kelly Raque spends her work days in the corporate warehouse. She is a certified Forklift Trainer and licensed Forklift Driver. When she’s not shoulder-deep in inventory, Kelly is an extensive traveler. She’s been to Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, France, Sweden, Bahamas, Belize, and The Cayman Islands. Kelly deserves the breaks since she raises 9 kids in her “spare” time!
